Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1981 to raise funds for the first patient tower at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, which opened in 1987. Since then, a vision of uncompromising medical excellence for Bakersfield and throughout Kern County has inspired generations of donors to support Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation. In the last decade, benefactors have donated more than $45 million to bring innovations and improvements to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital and help us touch more lives than any other local health care provider.
